Origin Builder Review
Does it fill a need?
Origin fills a need for people that want an easier way to build WP websites without theme imitations.
It works as described, but would like to have had a chance to test it on one of my sites. I think you’ll get a long lifespan out of this one if you have multiple WP sites. Origin Builder was marked down slightly, as I would have like to have had greater review access to be able to fully test.
Origin Builder is the latest website and page builder to arrive to market, but it has one very clear difference.
Where most recent builders build the pages on an external sites and use a plugin to add pages to your WP site. Origin Builder works directly inside ANY WordPress theme.
This means you either don’t need a theme or you can easily edit a theme without being a WP designer.
The builder works inside your pages and posts allowing you to add, edit and drag and drop elements and sections.
Origin comes with many great elements straight out of the box that can be quickly be added to build out your pages.
You can then save templates to use again. There will also be pre-done templates and features available in the pro version.
Now I would like to say I only had access to a demo site for testing, so I had no control over the theme or appearance settings.
This meant I couldn’t test the header and navigation areas.
I would like to do full testing on a site of my own.
BUT, from what I was able to test, Origin “does what it said on the tin”.
You can quickly and easily create great looking pages without any design skills, with just a few clicks.
It’s very similar to builders I’ve used before, but with one big difference.
It’s universal, so you can use it with any theme on all of your/or client’s sites.
There are a lot of themes out there that have some sort of builder options but they are often limiting.
Like any new system you will have to play around with it first to find your way around, but once you have it’s straight forward enough.
With Origin you can create optin pages, blog, vlog posts, webinar pages, Emom pages, sales pages and multiple website layouts.
And it’s packed with powerful page elements that you can add with one click.
What I also like was the ability to edit on the front end, which basically allows you to edit live pages without having to keep hitting update and preview to see your changes.
Who is Origin Builder for?
Anyone that struggles with getting their WP site to look the way they want or those who just want to save time editing.

Would I Recommend It?
Yes, if you use WP themes and don’t have a built in builder then this is definitely for you.
If you have a theme with a builder then maybe not, it just depends on how good your one is.
